     Jesus had a team of 12 disciples.  Paul surrounded himself with a team of capable pastors.  At the Ark, we recognize that what happens here every week is the result of teamwork.  Teamwork is a vital part of effective ministry.  If you're new to the Ark or considering attending, we want to see you become a part of the many Ministry Team opportunities.  Join the team and let's see what God will do as we serve together for His kingdom.

What is a Bible Fellowship Class?

     Bible Fellowship is a place that provides you with an opportunity to be involved, known, and loved within the Ark International Church.  Bible Fellowships are groups of 7 or more members who meet together on a weekly basis.  The size of these groups makes teaching very effective and relationships easy to form.  Bible Fellowships meet before the morning worship service.  Bible Fellowships provide opportunities for Bible study, building relationships, evangelism, prayer, and service.  In short, Bible Fellowships provide you with the chance to grow as a follower of Christ.  Bible Fellowship meets at 9:45am every Sunday Morning in the Family Life Center.

Why choose a Bible Fellowship Class?

     Bible Fellowships are an easy way to be involved.  Since they typically meet during the time before worship service, there is no need to make a second trip to the church - perfect for your busy schedule.  Bible Fellowships also provide a personal connection to the body of Christ.  Worship is awesome, but you never have a chance to really know the person that shares your pew.  Bible Fellowships provide a way to know these people as friends and fellow Christians.  They can share with you in your joys and hurts, provide help in times of need, and build you up with encouragement in your faith.  Bible Fellowships are also ongoing.  Classes meet throughout the year.  This continuity allows you to develop long-term relationships.

Where do I fit?

     The answer is not always easy to find, but there is one thing you can count on - you do fit somewhere!  You are a critical piece of God's Kingdom.  He has a unique place for you to connect, and when you do, you make an eternal difference in the lives of others.  "Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly.  As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."  Ephesians 4:16

Life Develops at the Ark...

We offer 4 Life Development Classes over the course of 4 months.  This is our simple process for moving people to mature believers who fulfill their ministry in the church and Christ's mission in the world.  We desire to develop fully devoted followers of Christ.

Class 101: Membership
Introduction to our Church Family
Offered:  Sunday, February 17th at 4:30 pm

Learn about the Ark Church!  Topics covered during this session will include: What is the definition of the Church?, Our values, vision, and Strategy, Our Faith, What we believe, etc.

Class 201: Maturity
Introduction to Spiritual Maturity
Offered:  Sunday, March 16th at 5 pm

We want you to grow!  Topics covered during this session will include:  Defining Spiritual Maturity & how to develop good spiritual habits, experiencing God, learning to pray, and baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Class 301:  Ministry
Introduction to Our Church Family
Offered:  Sunday, April 13th at 5 pm

Discover your Ministry!  Topics covered during this session will include:  Four experiences that influence ministry involvement, exploring your passions and interests, Spiritual Gifts, and Ministry opportunities.

Class 401:  Mission
Living Christ's Mission
Offered:  Sunday, May 11th at 5 pm

You have a story to tell!  Topics covered during this session will include:  Knowing His Purpose, Sharing His story, Knowing the Unchurched, and Sharing your story.
